Easy Au Pair Reviews

EasyAupair.com is an international site with a key focus in the United Kingdom. You can find au pairs from all over the world, the majority of them being from Europe, meaning that a strong number of them will have a foreign language as their native language. This is therefore a site for families who are looking to hire someone because they want to learn about their culture and language, or for au pairs who want to immerse themselves in the culture and language of another country.

The site is simply constructed with key information sections on the left hand side and tabs to relevant pages for au pairs and families. Au pairs are able to apply for some jobs for free, if the family has paid for full membership and is therefore able to see the au pair’s contact details. This is a pleasant extra as many sites will require both the au pair and the family to have paid membership before they can contact each other. There’s also a decent amount of information for families and au pairs, which is split into relevant sections for easy access.

Membership numbers are okay but not great. There are several thousand au pairs on the system, though it’s hard to know where they want to go in the world without looking at their specifics. That said, you can perform a search which allows you to find profiles based on location (country, region and city), and filter the results based on whether or not the member has a photo, how long they want the au pair or job for, nationality and whether or not they are looking for a live-in or live-out occupancy.

If you want to take action and make first contact with au pairs or families then you’ll need to upgrade your account. This site isn’t expensive but it’s also not offering the best value available. An extra upgrade can also be purchased which makes sure your profile stands out from the crowd when others perform searches.

A unique feature of this site is that you can include a URL of your personal website to your profile. This is only accessible to paying members but it does mean that you can upload your profile, link it to a personal website with all of your details and then have people contact you directly. You can also do a lot more with your personal site, such as including videos, references and more detailed statements about why you want to live abroad / have an au pair and what you would like from the experience.

EasyAuPair.com is an easy to use site which would benefit from greater membership numbers and reducing its price slightly. However, it offers a simple service with several ways to connect with families and au pairs across the world in the hope of bringing them together.
